Museum Exhibition Design specialist with Industrial Design education and 25+ years experience in a large Museum environment. Located in Denmark offering a range of 3D design services locally or working remotely anywhere in the world.

  • Museum exhibition design, physical interactive exhibits, custom showcases, seating and specialised furniture for public spaces.
  • Freelance exhibition design and consulting for Architects, Museums, Art Galleries and other groups involved in Exhibitions, Visitor and Science Centres.
  • Collaborative engagement in project teams and knowledge of visitor behaviour helping solve complex problems in exhibition design development.
  • Design development in collaboration with clients and end users from concepts through to final working drawings including evaluating prototype exhibits.
  • Specialist knowledge of large-format print substrates and their integration with exhibition components.
  • Broad knowledge of materials, processes and awareness of museum conservation constraints specific to the design and construction of exhibition furniture including showcases and object supports for sensitive museum collection objects.
  • Full design documentation, construction drawings and output for CNC production.

Previous Experience

Senior Exhibition Designer at Queensland Museum, Brisbane, Australia
(1995 -2006 / 2007-2018)
Working within the exhibitions team designing, developing and assisting in building Museum exhibitions and Science Centre exhibits. Involved with prototyping, evaluating and overseeing construction and installation in across the museum’s campuses. Consulting with and assisting external Architects on large exhibition design projects.
